The Bombardier CRJ 700 is a short range aircraft that is regularly scheduled for flights of up to 3 hours. It is a stretched derivative of the CRJ200, featuring a new wing with leading edge slats and a stretched and slightly widened fuselage, with a lowered floor.
In 2007, the 700 variants had a makeover, the interior was made more appealing by enlarging the size of the passenger windows, which changed the craft on the inside and the out, giving passengers a larger viewing area and increasing the natural light that would filter in. They also made the baggage space larger and installed LED lighting.
